The state lies on the eastern coast of the United States, overlooking the vast Atlantic Ocean. Humidity levels are high, and can bring spontaneous thunderstorms and rain showers to the region. But the summer of 2002 would bring a dark and ominous cloud over Fayetteville…one like the city had never seen before…a cloud which remains to this day. In a short, six-week period between June and July, four people are murdered in their bedrooms, leaving authorities scrambling to connect the killings. What is the link between these four murders?
